Shift Engineer
Mission: To carry out the maintenance, repair and installation of all mechanical structural and domestic fitting and fixtures throughout the Hotel.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To manage, repair and redecorate the assigned floors.
To check all appliance pertaining to fire and health & safety on a weekly basis.
Carry out all administration duties to show a record of all works carried out on a day-to-day basis.
Implement and maintain all energy saving devices, in collaboration with the Chief Engineer.
Record all materials used and inform the Maintenance Office of any spares and materials required.
Adhere to the company 10 minute response, to a guest related maintenance request.
What we are looking for?
Qualification in at least one of the maintenance trades & previous experience in Hotel Maintenance.
Great customer service & communication skills.
Proactive and positive personality
Flexibility, ability to respond quickly and positively to customers and hotels needs.
Great team-player with ability to show co-operation and support to colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
