This is a brilliant opportunity for a Production Manager to join a beautiful, contemporary luxury fashion brand, reporting to the Creative director and Operations Director. We’re seeking a talented Production Manager to join our client’s intimate & dynamic team, based in London.
This role will lead and oversee the critical path & end to end production process, working in conjunction with Design and Technical. You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of production & will have established luxury factory contacts in the EU and be proactive, with great attention to detail.
Join this growing contemporary luxury womenswear brand, we require experience overseeing production for small to medium-size business/es. You will enjoy working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. You will have experience working with dresses, separates and tailoring. Strong Contracts with European Factories. Our client is careful to select beautiful and high-quality fabrics and are renowned for their iconic designs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for production & managing the critical path.
Working in conjunction with the technical and design team, arranging regular meetings to ensure CP runs smoothly and changes/adjustments are made/implemented accordingly.
Estimate costs and prepare budgets. Liaising with factories.
Price negotiation and estimations.
Ensure good workflow is maintained, flagging risks and proactively ensuring all deliveries are manufactured to a high quality and are delivered on time.
Responsible for driving positive working environment and solutions focused company culture.
Work closely with garment tech to uphold quality standards, supervising packing/QC.
Prepare any manuals for use ensuring overall team best practice and suggesting improvements to create a smooth production process.
Experience Required:
-Experience working in a Production Manager role & product development, superb ability to drive excellent standards.
-Enjoy collaborating and working as part of a small, dynamic team. You will be hands on as well as strategic.
-Expert knowledge of production processes, quality standards and health and safety regulations.
-Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
-Great knowledge of trends, production, design, and development, with a passion for high quality garments.
-Excellent communicator who enjoys working in collaboration with team and stakeholders.
-Team player with a hands-on work ethic and can-do, naturally positive personality.
-Ability to work accurately at pace and independently.
-Confident decision-making skills with a results-driven mind-set
-Commercial with a passion to grow within an innovative, contemporary luxury fashion brand.
