About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our small sales and marketing team and play a crucial role in promoting brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales in lead conversion. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for executing, lead creation, generation and conversion plans, go-to-market plans as well as continuously building brand salience.


Key Responsibilities Include


Execute Go-To-Market plans: Collaborate with the Marketing Director to plan and implement effective go-to-market plans that align with business objectives and target audience.


Content Creation: Contributing towards a communication strategy you will be heavily involved in content creation with an emphasis on engaging and informative content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and more. You will work closely with internal experts to leverage their expertise and simplify technical content for the audience by developing a compelling message or story to effectively communicate the value proposition or drive engagement.


Online Presence: Manage and optimise the company's online presence, including website content, blog articles, explainer videos, social media content, webinars and online advertising campaigns. Continuously monitor and analyse online performance metrics to drive improvements.


Thought Leadership: Establish the company as a thought leader by creating thought-provoking content, such as white papers, industry reports, case studies, blogs and articles. Actively contribute to industry discussions and participate in relevant events, conferences, and webinars.


Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly and reporting on progress and performance to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of project and campaign success.


Partner Recruitment: Collaborate with partners to develop and execute co-branded marketing initiatives that drive lead generation and brand awareness.


Media Exposure: Build relationships with trade publications and industry influencers to secure media exposure for the company. Pitch articles, press releases, and thought leadership pieces to industry publications to increase brand visibility and credibility.


Lead Generation and Conversion: Supporting sales efforts by producing sales enablement, templates and other materials to support lead gen and lead conversion sales activities.


Product Marketing: Research and analysis, develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the market and maintains buyer personas to guide marketing efforts. Create sales and collateral tools such as case studies to support the sales team.


Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the technology or consulting industry.
  • Self-confident in promoting and developing opportunities with strong commercial acumen and tech savvy.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent content creation skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical content for a non-technical audience.
  • High cadence and fast-paced work style to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative tactical thinker with a passion for thought provoking and engaging content.
  • Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales support.
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
