Role Overview:


Are you ready to lead the legal frontier in the dynamic world of renewable energy and public-private partnerships (PPP)? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Legal to spearhead our legal operations, ensuring seamless support across investment, borrowing, and due diligence processes for groundbreaking energy transition projects. Join us in driving the acquisition, financing, construction, and maintenance of cutting-edge renewable projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment and Borrowing Support: Provide expert legal guidance throughout the investment and borrowing processes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Due Diligence in M&A Projects: Lead the legal due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions in the energy transition space, focusing on projects at the ready-to-build stage.
  • Comprehensive Legal Oversight: Manage all legal activities and correspondences related to Renewable and PPP projects, from acquisition through to finance, construction, and ongoing maintenance.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Legal Expertise: Extensive legal experience, with a strong background in planning and consents law.
  • Renewables Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the renewables sector, with hands-on experience in project finance and/or mergers and acquisitions.
  • EPC and Subcontracting Agreements: Preferably, substantial experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and subcontracting agreements.


Qualifications:

  • Over 10 Years of Relevant Experience: Proven track record of over a decade in a similar role, demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise in legal matters related to renewables and PPP.
