You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines.Site Engineer Responsibilities:* Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.* Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.* Analysing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.* Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.* Organising materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.* Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.* Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.* Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.* Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.* Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.* Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.* Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.* Supervising and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.* Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.Required skills and qualifications* Experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role.* Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, AutoCAD and other software.* Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.* Competent in assessing, interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders.* Excellent project management and organisational skills.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.* Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.* Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
