Join us on our journey, apply now.Reporting into the Onboard HR Manager you will support them to deliver People Services onboard our Excel-class ships, providing expert knowledge and guidance on HR matters, including performance, training, disciplinary matters, and seafarer welfare engagement.Key responsibilities:Acts as main point of contact for line manager employee relations queries, supporting, coaching, and guiding to ensure fair and consistent application of policy Oversees the internal recruitment process including coaching and supporting candidates.Conducts in-person exit surveys for leavers and works with the wider business to feedback trends and learning Drives the embedding of career pathways initiative onboard, supporting line managers and delegates with assessment and closely monitoring completion rates in line with work force plan Supports new to sea crew by facilitating Welcome Meetings and partnering with the L&D Officer to deliver relevant training Actively supports the monitoring of MLC compliance onboard, including Hours of Work and Rest auditing crew office adherence, acting as SME to line managers and supporting action plan activities. Champions crew welfare and diversity onboard organises events to promote DEI to the ship's company.Partners with the HR Manager to deliver People elements of the Life Onboard action planTo apply for this opportunity, you be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Previous experience of HR process and procedureProven track record of using interpersonal skills to coach, motivate and train othersSocially confident, working with a culturally diverse range of colleagues with great relationship building skillsDecisive and flexible, able to quickly assess the appropriate approach to an emerging issue or take preventative action to prevent HR issues escalatingExcellent communication skills both written and verbal
