About the Role

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Project Controls Student and Apprentice Lecturer to deliver high-quality training and instruction to students and apprentices pursuing a career in project controls. This role involves planning and delivering lectures, assessing student progress, and providing mentorship and support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Training: Plan and deliver engaging lectures and workshops on project controls. Develop curriculum materials aligned with industry standards.
  • Assessing Students and Apprentices: Design and administer assessments, provide feedback, and monitor student progress.
  • Mentorship and Support: Act as a mentor, guiding students in their technical and professional development.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay updated with industry trends, maintain relationships with industry partners, and collaborate on curriculum development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with sector standards and academic regulations, working closely with our Quality Assurance team.


Additional Requirement:

We are looking for someone with assessor qualifications (eg CAVA) and preferably an IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification and experience who can work across multiple programs, including our other Project Management programs, ensuring the highest standards in education delivery.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., project management, engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Proven experience in project controls or a related field, with a preference for experience in education or training.
  • Familiarity with project controls methodologies and tools.

  • Strong knowledge of project controls principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in instructional technologies and learning management systems.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners, promoting a positive learning experience.
