Overview:


The Microsoft 365 Engineer will play a key role in supporting, optimizing, and deploying Microsoft 365 and Azure-based services. Working within an Operations team, you’ll provide direct support to customers and assist with project deployments across areas like Future Workplace, Cloud Transformation, and Network Services. This role is ideal for candidates with broad technical interests and deep expertise in Microsoft cloud services who are seeking opportunities to grow within a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Azure Active Directory, and other Azure components.
  • Adhere to SLA and operational metrics for customer support and change requests.
  • Perform live environment changes per customer and internal procedures to resolve incidents.
  • Provide after-hours on-call support as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve escalations and improve satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated support queries, working to resolve them effectively.
  • Conduct support or project activities on customer sites as needed.
  • Actively log and manage issues in customer environments, driving operational improvements.
  • Follow ITIL principles to ensure standardized support practices.
  • Maintain a strong customer service focus throughout support interactions.


Technical Skills & Knowledge:


  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, MS Teams, Intune, Azure Active Directory, and hybrid implementations.
  • Familiarity with Modern Workplace tools, such as Windows 10 and 11.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS deployments, network configurations, RBAC, and policies.
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Tier 2 infrastructure support role.
  • Broad understanding across multiple technology areas, rather than specialization.
  • Strong time management skills to meet support targets.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, as this role involves regular customer interaction.
  • Motivation for continuous learning and improvement.
