We are looking for a Cassandra Database Administrator to work on a project for one of our key clients in the gaming/betting sector.


The project will see you:

  • Administer the NoSQL databases ensuring they remain available, secure and have the appropriate HA/DR solutions.
  • Promote and drive automation with an "everything as code" mentality.
  • You will take the lead on complex database tasks
  • Manage very large table modifications, advanced query tuning and data-migrations.


Required experience:

  • Experience managing Cassandra Production systems
  • Cloud experience in either GCP or AWS
  • MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch administration
  • Strong experience with database monitoring tools and performance optimisation techniques


Desirable experience:

  • Configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible)
  • Scripting in Python or Bash
  • Code versioning tools (i.e. git)


There will also be an on-call rota that you will be a part of.


This project is remote and outside IR35.
