This role will be accountable for the definition and implementation of key elements of the global pricing strategy, ensuring they are commercially viable and data-driven, to increase revenue for the business.


The company are one of the world’s largest logistics organisations, with an impressive portfolio of well-recognised large brands.


The successful individual will be highly analytical and able to make decisions and judgements based on detailed analysis. They will be able to show a history of driving change identified from analysis and decisions. For this role you must be an effective communicator and can express complex data clearly, both written and verbally.


Job responsibilities:


  • Regular and ad-hoc analysis to support the setting of the global Pricing Strategy, ensuring adherence of all regions to this.
  • Work across Commercial teams to complete global tenders for key customers, representing Revenue Management at discussions and tracking award utilisation.
  • Actively engage in the implementation of a new Pricing system.
  • Support the business transition to increased online booking.
  • Evaluate global fuel markets and costs, taking appropriate price actions as needed.
  • Monitor revenue integrity and conformance measures, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to maintain adherence to the global Pricing strategy.
  • Identify and implement improvements to regional and global surcharge pricing.
  • Monitor competitor activity across accountable areas and ensure rapid response to changes in the competitive landscape.
  • Initiate and deliver business change and best practice methods across Commercial.
  • Analyse and understand key business drivers to deliver effective decision-making.
  • Review and influence system generated outputs to optimise performance.
  • Work closely with commercial functions to identify and drive new initiatives.
  • Understand our unique operational constraints and customer expectations, adapting strategies to ensure we work within them and balance objectives.
