Are you a Composite Fitter or Trimmer in Motorsport, F1 or the High Technology Automotive sector? We have multiple Composite Fitter shift patterns available with an exciting motorsport organisation on an initial 6 month fixed term basis.


We are looking for versatile Composite Technicians with strong fitting, assembly, comp-bond and trimming skills gained in Motorsport, F1 or High Technology Automotive sector.

The role:


- Fit, bond, and assemble carbon components in accordance with engineering diagrams and assembly guidelines.

- Performing visual and structural repairs on composite elements.

- Construct jigs and fixtures for assembly purposes.

- Perform structural bonding of components following company specifications.


Key Skills required:


- Trimming: Cutting or shaping composites according to precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings or instructions.

- Fitting and Assembling: Ensuring the accurate fitting and assembly of composite components, using tools and techniques to achieve the desired form and function.

- Bonding and Joining: Employing bonding agents or methods to assemble composite parts or structures, ensuring they adhere properly and meet strength requirements.

- Quality Control: Inspecting finished components to verify they meet quality standards, including proper fit, finish, and structural integrity.

- Repair Work: Conducting repairs on damaged composite elements, employing appropriate techniques to restore functionality and appearance.


This is an initial 6 month FTC based onsite with a choice of shifts (including days/nights and weekend options available).
