This role includes leading and supervising the care team, ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC standards, and maintaining high professional standards.
The home specialises in residents with complex care needs, including those with long-term physical health conditions and mental health issues, so experience in this area is preferred.
Key duties involve resident care assessment, staff development, performance management, and maintaining open communication channels. The Home Manager will also manage complaints, cooperate with inspections, and ensure adherence to company policies, promoting equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices. Regular reporting and participation in management meetings are required.
