Responsibilities:


Perform financial analyses, such as gap analysis and cost modelling, for assigned business areas with minimal supervision

Provide valuable insights to leadership and enable informed decision-making

Understand specific business requirements and identify the most appropriate types of analysis

Develop objectives and key results (OKRs) with the support of the manager

Apply established frameworks and protocols to analyse financial data and identify potential issues and risks

Frame problems and propose solutions, connecting variances to operational metrics

Generate alternative approaches and recommend opportunities for improvement in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

Explain analytics confidently to business partners and provide business insights

Develop networks with colleagues, peers, vendors, and other relevant FP&A partners

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):


Strong working knowledge in analytics

Proficiency in multiple business areas within FP&A and relevant tools

Familiarity with the organisation's structure and technologies

Experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and forecasting

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Attention to detail and accuracy


Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):


Experience in business finance, financial reporting, or project management

Knowledge of risk management techniques

Understanding of data research and analysis


Technologies:


Proficiency in financial modelling tools and software

Advanced Excel skills

Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
