Responsibilities


To assist in creating and reviewing test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.

Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools e.g Selenium etc. to verify that the software meets specified requirements and functions correctly. Understanding of Python programming language.

To identify and report defects or issues found during testing using a bug tracking system.

Provide clear and detailed descriptions of the defects, including steps to reproduce, expected behaviour, and actual behaviour observed.

Performing regression testing to ensure that software changes or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Collaborate with other members of the development team, including developers, solution architect, and business analyst, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Ensuring that the software development process adheres to quality standards and best practices.

Participate in quality assurance activities such as code reviews, inspections, and process improvements to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.

Stay updated with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and tools to improve testing skills and knowledge.

Seek opportunities for training, certification, and professional development to enhance proficiency in software testing techniques.

Provide support to end-users and stakeholders by addressing questions, concerns, and issues related to software functionality and quality.

Collaborate with customer support teams to troubleshoot problems and provide timely resolution to user inquiries.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role. Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.

Experience in the agriculture industry or with AI technologies is a plus.
