Cognisant are working with a property development company who focus on Coliving, BTR and PBSA. With an impressive pipeline, significant growth plans, and extensive funding readily available, they are looking to expand across the UK from their current Manchester base. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to achieve these plans. Your role will provide overarching support, working as a finance business partner, to all key areas of the organisation whilst leading a department of 10-15 people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work alongside the Board to develop and implement the financial strategy to achieve long term profit and IRR targets.
  • Provide commercial insight and support regarding the property portfolio performance.
  • Ensure sound investment appraisals are made in conjunction with the Development Director.
  • Oversee the mid-term financial planning for the Group - challenging the cost base and business assumptions.
  • Management of the Treasury function including bank facilities, debt management and other financial transactions.
  • Introduce finance business partnering capability into the business across the key departments.

You will be a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of business and commercial acumen.
