My client, a Growing Asset Management Data Solutions company is looking for a Senior Business Development Director. This person will work closely with the Director of Engagement and the Relationship Management Team. The right person will:


• Act as a first point of contact for new membership enquiries.

• Ensure effective systems and processes are followed for member targeting and recruitment

• Attend new business meetings

• To build a team, over time, to further boost the new revenue opportunities and account manage the existing members

• Arranging meetings for the senior team to showcase activity to the senior teams of member prospects and following up accordingly

• Update CRM and ensure that all internal parties, as appropriate, are aware of changes within member firms

• Be fully conversant with all income-generating initiatives and to act as one of the central points of contact for all related queries

• Cross-sell / make referrals to support the growth of other income-generating offerings across the business

• Scope new commercial opportunities


Skills and attributes required


• Proven experience in sales / business development within Financial Services, in particular within the Asset Manager and Distribution space with regard to Data Services

• Experience / understanding of data issues within financial services would be an advantage

• Effective liaison with external and internal stakeholders at senior (and all) levels

• Outgoing and proactive in approach – a self-starter

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to use CRM systems
