As the Director – Loan Capital Markets Origination, you will be responsible for originating and executing loan transactions for corporate, financial institution, and sovereign clients across the EMEA region. You will lead deal origination, structuring, and syndication efforts while building and maintaining strong client relationships to deliver high-quality financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Origination:

  • Drive the origination of loan transactions, including syndicated loans, bilateral loans, and structured lending, for corporate, FI, and sovereign clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to provide tailored financing solutions, leveraging a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign entities, as well as private equity sponsors where applicable.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and financing recommendations.

Structuring and Execution:

  • Lead the structuring, underwriting, and syndication of loan transactions, ensuring alignment with market standards and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, legal, and syndicate, to ensure smooth execution.

Market and Product Expertise:

  • Stay updated on loan market trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments across the EMEA region.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative financing structures to meet client needs.

Key Requirements

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Loan Capital Markets, with a proven track record in loan origination, structuring, and syndication.
  • Deep understanding of debt financing for corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign clients, with EMEA coverage preferred.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of syndicated loans, credit markets, and loan distribution strategies.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
