But, we know that no hospital team is complete without the vital support of its bank - and now, we're looking for people to be part of our growing Bank team of Complementary Therapists in Manchester.

We deliver exceptional services across the Manchester area via the Christie Private Care Centre. Our private healthcare facilities in Manchester have specialist expertise in caring for patients with common to complex conditions and have dedicated treatment and support services for those diagnosed with cancer.

As part of our Bank you'll have first refusal ahead of agencies on a range of shifts across our network of leading private hospitals, all of which are currently rated ‘Good' or ‘Outstanding' by the CQC. It's a fantastic chance to gain exposure to one of the UKs leading private healthcare providers while retaining that all important flexibility over when and where you work. You can expect to work alongside leading consultants, expert colleagues and be recognised for the vital role you play within our team.

Opportunities within our Complementary Therapy Bank team cover a range of roles at all grades/levels including, but not limited to: Complementary Therapist (Including Senior)

What you'll bring:

  • Recognised training in massage/reiki and aromatherapy / reflexology (e.g. IFA, AOR)
  • Registration with CNHC

Desirable:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience, with cancer patients, neurology or an acute setting
  • Participation in clinical supervision
  • Experience of collaborating in audit and/or research.
  • Knowledge of cancer, its impact and management
