Talent Manager (Influencer)

DDA performs a wide spectrum of media relations, publicity, event management (through DDA Event Management) and marketing tasks, either globally or targeted to specific international markets. Festival and market experiences include the Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, Tribeca, Cannes, Venice, Telluride, Toronto, London and Dubai film festivals (among others).


About You

You will be a passionate, driven and hard-working talent agent who will help manage the team and work with our fantastic roster. You must have a huge passion for influencers and influencer management, have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this is your dream job

This role will support Senior Talent Agents and your fellow Talent Agents on securing great talent, and managing a roster of Creators. You’ll build strong relationships with your talent and act as a trusted advisor to help them to achieve the best possible outcomes through your own work and the work of the team that you support.


Your Key Responsibilities Include:


Client Relationships

· Lead on 2-3 talent accounts, making sure they run smoothly, and campaigns are being run

successfully

· Maintaining and continuing to build relationships with agencies

· Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders

· Attend relevant industry events to grow your network

· Initial point of contact for trouble-shooting and dealing with larger problems before passing to Senior Talent Manager and Director of Creators

· Leading on communicating around the Creators’ goals and their monthly catch-ups

· Consistently looking for new ways in order to meet talent’s needs

Strategy and Commercial Awareness

· Strategising on influencers; social media channels and how they can be improved

· Ensure each of your Creators has realistic but ambitious goals

· Strategising on how these goals can be reached

· Devising exciting, innovative and on brand content ideas for influencers

· Strategising how to develop our current roster and any opportunities/creators to develop

the roster further e.g. book deals, TV shows and more

· Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience and users and utilise those learnings into your Creators and their strategies

· Play an active role in brainstorms on new, creative approaches to influencer campaign

· Focus on thinking strategically around how to generate longer-term business for your Creators

· Utilise experience and industry knowledge to help fire-proof accounts, foresee problems and come armed with solutions to help maintain commerciality to your Creators

· Ensure oversight of the Creators’ goals and how they can be actioned and met with the support of the Director of Digital


Delivery

· Assist with management and successful delivery of client expectations

· Oversee the junior co-ordinator and assistant with outreach

· Assist with strategic outreach for your Creators

· Communicating with brands in regard to commercial and non-commercial opportunities for our talent

· Assist with Inbox management on behalf of influencers

· Acts upon client feedback throughout all delivery, as instructed by Talent Manager

· Providing the best possible work for your line manager at all times


People

· Managing the co-ordinators/assistants on your accounts in terms of workload, tasks and

the roster

· Line managing more junior members of the Creators team

· Be approachable and professional at all times and positively contribute to the team

environment

· Inspire your colleagues to push themselves and lead by example

· Champion the importance of teamwork and motivate others around you


Skills & Experience

· Previous experience in an influencer management role

· Previous experience line managing members of a team

· Extensive knowledge of social media influencers and content creators

· Being able to adapt management styles for different Creators and not taking a one size fits all approach

· Hugely organised, good under pressure and ability to multi-task

· Ability to work to tight timelines and, when really necessary, available outside of office hours

· Understanding of how online platforms and social media can reach and develop audiences, participants and press engagement

· Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging or social channel posting

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Proactive & intuitive

· Creative mind-set

· Proficient with Google Drive

· Great sales and negotiation skills are a huge plus

· 3+ years industry experience
