Job Title: Overhead Crane Engineer
Human Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Overhead Crane Engineer to join our client's team. The role is field-based, covering the South East of England. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of overhead cranes in a variety of industrial and commercial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven engineer who enjoys working in different environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, service, and repairs on overhead cranes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on cranes and associated equipment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all cranes meet required standards.
- Work in diverse settings including warehouses, manufacturing plants, and construction sites.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about work completed or any additional requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified in electrical engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience with overhead crane systems, including electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule efficiently.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel across the South East of England.
