Job Summary: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of restaurant management and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff
  • Develop work schedules and manage staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns effectively and courteously.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control restaurant expenses
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Prepare and manage the restaurant budget

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Work with the marketing team to create and implement promotional activities and special events to attract and retain customers.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or upscale dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
