Pavilion recruitment are offering you the chance to join one of our clients – a successful independent insurance broker in the role of Commercial Account Handler.
With ongoing technical development support, you will work with an incredibly experienced Senior Broking Executive, performing broking and administrative duties for his portfolio of clients. On a day-to-day basis you be working on SME and Corporate client level policies, placing cross class commercial policies to the market.
Industries covered are mainly property and construction, but the organisation also provides covers for Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Distribution, Professions and more.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with broking, including E-Trade, manual presentations and Lloyds Brokers.
- Assist and support with renewals, this can be up to 30 renewals a month
- Maintain good relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and other suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and potential gaps in clients' insurance coverage.
- Ensure all instructions are processed, recorded, and confirmed quickly and efficiently.
- Take on additional duties or help other staff as reasonably requested by your manager or Directors.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in broking commercial business insurance policies
- Skills in Acturis (beneficial)
- Good attention to detail
- Skills in volume processing
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of initiative
