As part of our continued growth 3pX are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our dynamic team in the fast moving recruitment sector. As a key member of our finance department you will play a crucial role in developing and managing the credit control function while also supporting the Management Accountant across our UK, US and European business.

This role represents a great opportunity to develop and shape a credit control function in a forward thinking, internationally expanding business. You will need to have previous Credit Control experience as well as enthusiasm, a strong team spirit and desire to learn and develop professionally.


Credit Controller Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the timely receipt and allocation of payments across three global entities
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and within the business resolving issues promptly
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures and processes, optimising the use of system solutions to automate where possible.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients managing any portal or specific invoicing requests proficiently
  • Raising invoices and curating credit notes
  • Provide regular, clear and insightful reporting internally on performance to the Leadership team
  • In partnership with our Operations team, support the evaluation of creditworthiness of new clients and set commercially appropriate credit limits and terms of business
  • Familiar with the legal landscape and escalation options alongside the CFO
  • Provide support to the Management Accountant on some general finance tasks linked to the Receivables ledger, bank reconciliation, and commission calculations


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role (recruitment industry experience ideal but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (intermediate level is desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ambitious and determined to succeed
