Automation Engineer - Liverpool - up to 55k
We are working with our client who are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of their software through automated testing, contributing to both test development and execution.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets the highest standards before reaching customers. They are looking for someone with expertise in C#, Selenium WebDriver, and SpecFlow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests within the existing BDD framework using C#, Selenium WebDriver, and SpecFlow.
- Ensure the delivery of thoroughly tested high-quality software to customers.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create detailed, effective test plans.
- Participate in the review of acceptance criteria and requirements, identifying potential errors, gaps, or ambiguities early in the process.
Essential Skills / Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
- Proficient in C# programming (at least 1 year of experience)
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks (C#, SpecFlow).
- Experience automating tests using Selenium WebDriver and RestSharp.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with knowledge of testing best practices.
- Solid understanding of manual testing practices (UAT/System/Regression).
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and strong technical skills (Windows, DNS, Networking, Scripting).
