Role Overview: My Lloyd's Market Insurance client is looking for an Insurance BA to collaborate with senior business partners, stakeholders, and team members. Project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution, may also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Elicit and document complex business requirements and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise-wide strategies.
- Produce functional and non-functional specifications and other project deliverables.
- Lead senior stakeholders in analysing business requirements and developing solutions.
- Communicate requirements clearly for timely business sign-off.
- Engage with the development team on technical solutions and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with operational risk controls and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the BA practice through continuous process improvements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain user confidence by keeping information confidential.
- Provide clear written and verbal communications to the project team.
- Demonstrate progress on tasks, issues, risks, and dependencies for the Project Manager.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 years of business analysis experience within the insurance/reinsurance sector, particularly in the Lloyd’s market.
- Professional business analysis qualifications preferred; project management qualifications beneficial.
- Experience in process improvement
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (IIBA, PMI, BCS).
- Ability to plan, execute, and control smaller projects.
- Strong analytical and information gathering skills.
- Effective engagement with stakeholders and SMEs at all levels.
- Proven problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities.
- Flexible approach to work in a global operation.
