Purpose:

To support the Store Manager and Team in providing management support such as sales generation, the delivery of excellent customer experience and coaching team members. The role will also assist in the production of store and sales reports as necessary and will cover for the Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager in their absence.


Responsibilities:

Sales generation and target focus

  • Communicate feedback on best sellers, slow sellers, missed sales opportunities and customer requests to the Store Manager.
  • Achieve and exceed personal goals.
  • Record and update sales performance, such as WSR, sell-throughs, product feedback, trade feedback.
  • Assist in the management and preparation of the two major sales events.

Client experience and relationship building

  • Provide exceptional client experience and service.
  • Provide personalised and timely after-sales service to clients, dealing effectively with client complaints.
  • Demonstrate high level of product knowledge (telling the story, features and benefits etc.) and coach other team members.
  • Develop strong, long-lasting, commercial relationships with clients, establishing a regular client base.
  • Develop relationships with surrounding businesses and brands to help grow and develop the MB business.
  • Assist in the management of special client events.

Operational excellence

  • Prepare and maintain stock on the sales floor, following Manolo Blahnik visual guidelines and standards.
  • Assist in the collating, analysing, reporting and evaluating of sales, working in conjunction with the Store Manager.
  • Assist with the end of day procedures such as cashing up.
  • Assist in the management and preparation of regular stock takes.
  • Maintain high back of house standards such as stock room, stock security etc and daily replenishment of stock according to the sell-through.
  • Assist in the e-commerce operations as and when necessary.

Leadership and mentoring

  • Coach and mentor team members by setting daily and weekly goals to help them achieve their individual sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Maintain effective communication with all team members and Store Manager.
  • Maintain and assist in the creation of enjoyable and respectful work environment.
  • Assist in the delivery of product training and client service training.

Any other tasks as requested.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable. Good attention to detail.
  • Network: Ability to build relationships and network easily, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ambassador: Representing Manolo Blahnik products and values with passion.
  • Communication: Level of ability to communicate; verbally and in writing as well as active listening.
  • Excellence: High level of finesse and excellence required in delivery of all tasks.


Skills and Experience Desired:

  • Additional languages.
  • Leadership experience within retail environment.
