Now on the lookout for a dedicated Contracts Engineer to play a key role in their management team. In this position, you’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of maintenance contracts, driving high standards of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in our operations.


Responsibilities of the Contracts Engineer:

  • Manage all operational requirements and programming to ensure best practices and continuity, including overseeing resource levels
  • Take financial accountability for projects and manage the operational workforce, including subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and instruction
  • Produce and sign off on NICEIC certifications and ensure all inspection and testing results are accurately recorded
  • Prepare quotations and estimates, procure materials, and provide technical assistance to colleagues for quotes and tenders
  • Conduct inspection audits, attend client meetings, and ensure we meet KPIs related to customer satisfaction, productivity, and financial targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring all work is carried out safely


Criteria of the Contracts Engineer:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position working on HV maintenance contracts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inspection, testing, verification, certification, and reporting procedures for High Voltage electrical work
  • At least 5 years’ experience in electrical installations, repairs, inspection and testing, as well as emergency lighting and fire alarm service and installation
  • Extensive knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations and the current edition of BS7671, along with relevant Codes of Practice and guidance documents
