Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process from initial lead generation and qualification through to negotiating and closing sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers in commercial vehicle workshops and other potential clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, including vehicle inspection pits, MOT equipment, and workshop tools, to effectively sell solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct site surveys and consultations to assess customer requirements, offering tailored solutions and presenting proposals.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth for the region.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using the company’s CRM system.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of B2B sales experience in the commercial vehicle workshop sector, ideally selling garage equipment or related products such as lifting equipment, diagnostic tools, or MOT testing solutions.
  • Sales Experience: Experience in managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to post-sale follow-up and customer retention.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle inspection, servicing, and testing equipment, with the ability to translate technical product features into customer benefits.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present to customers at all levels, from workshop managers to senior decision-makers.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Location: Must be based in the Southern England region, with the flexibility to travel across the area to meet customers and attend site visits.
  • Driving Licence: Full, clean UK driving licence required for travel across the region.
