We are looking for a motivated, results-driven SaaS Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. Initially, you will be the key player in a small sales team that you will build, along with helping to devise and deliver the sales strategy.


This is an office-based role, in a modern new office, overlooking the boats at Brighton Marina. You'll love the Brighton lifestyle and being near the beach



Key Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to our target audiences.
  • Set, track, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using HubSpot.
  • Lead by example, actively engaging in prospecting, demoing, and closing deals.


Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives as needed.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results.
  • Ensure data standards within HubSpot are upheld by sales team members


Customer Engagement

  • Understand the unique challenges and needs of target audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, demonstrating the value of our SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless onboarding and retention.


Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
  • Work closely with Marketing and demand generation team, to follow up and feedback on leads and campaigns
  • Provide insights and feedback to the Product team to help refine and enhance our offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.



Requirements:


  • Experience: Proven track record in SaaS sales, preferably targeting SMBs or niche markets. Experience with sports organisations or children’s activity providers is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Results-Oriented: Strong goal-setting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Growth mindset: Curious by nature, consistently investing time into your professional development.
