Role Description:
As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the mortgage application process. Working closely with the Sales teams, you will assess the financial situations of prospective buyers, recommend suitable mortgage products, and ensure a smooth and efficient process from application to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial assessments of clients to determine their eligibility for mortgage products.
- Advise clients on the most suitable mortgage options based on their financial circumstances and requirements.
- Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Build strong relationships with lenders, solicitors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate efficient communication and processing of mortgage applications.
- Stay up-to-date with mortgage regulations and industry trends to provide the best possible advice to clients.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify potential mortgage leads and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions and applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor with a successful track record in securing mortgage deals.
- CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and lending criteria.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
