What you will be doing

As the Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the enterprise architecture activities, ensuring alignment with our business vision and outcomes. You will champion and manage technology solutions, particularly Cloud, to deliver tangible, pragmatic results. This role demands a strong technical background, with extensive experience across various IT architecture disciplines, and the ability to guide the adoption of enterprise architecture principles across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Understand business drivers and required capabilities, translating them into effective enterprise system designs.
  • Design and implement enterprise architecture across business applications and technologies.
  • Provide consulting support to application architects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Monitor and address deficiencies or lifecycle issues in the current-state solution portfolio.
  • Analyse technology trends and their potential impact on the organisation.
  • Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns for future-state architecture vision.
  • Identify and manage the organisational and financial impact of enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Extensive experience in at least two IT architecture disciplines, including Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Systems Architecture, Business Architecture, and more.
  • Proven experience in developing architecture roadmaps, standards, and blueprints.
  • Ability to bridge communication between technical and business-oriented audiences.
  • Familiarity with multiple development methodologies and technology implementation.
  • Leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture tooling, financial systems, IT infrastructure, and networking.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft technology ecosystem, cloud services (Azure is preferred but will also look at AWS or GCP), integration, and enterprise service bus architecture.
