The right candidate will play a key role in supporting the business' corporate development activities, including investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives. This position involves aiding in the Group’s corporate modeling and market analysis across the various sectors they operate within, as well as exploring new market opportunities.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to uncover opportunities and assess risks.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, including performance and variance analyses and key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the company's financial performance.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing data and providing financial projections.
  • Interpret financial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Create and update relevant presentations and marketing materials.


Skills & Knowledge

  • Understanding of the shipping industry and its financial dynamics would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and must be highly numerate.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Excel modeling is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
