We’re seeking a full-time Videographer/Media All-Rounder to join our Marketing and Media team. Position Overview
We’re looking for a passionate Videographer eager to grow their career with us. In this role, you will play a key part in elevating our production quality, working on a variety of projects, including recap/highlight videos, video podcasts, and short-form social media content. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop a wide range of skills and be involved in the end-to-end delivery of high-quality video content.
This is a remote position for 8 months of the year. For the remaining 4 months, you will be expected to travel and stay with the team at our headquarters in San Mateo, California.
Key Projects
You will have an immediate impact on two major ongoing video projects:
1. Recap Videos for Our Programs:
- Pre-production: Collaborate with our marketing team to plan shoots, and set up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment on-site.
- Production: Capture b-roll content of founders, speakers, and staff members.
- Post-production: Edit and create memorable highlight videos to showcase during our programs and share with partners, board members, and participants.
2. Video Podcast Production:
- Pre-production: Work with the marketing team to refine and improve standard operating procedures for video podcast setup.
- Production: Operate cameras to capture content from high-level startup founders, legendary venture capitalists, and other industry leaders.
- Post-production: Edit and produce engaging long-form video and audio podcasts. Create short-form videos for distribution across social media platforms.

- Able to attend 2-3 core team meetings per week (during Pacific Standard Time business hours).
- Able to attend daily syncs with the Marketing and Media team around 2 PM - 6 PM PST.
Onsite (San Mateo):
- For 4 months you will have accommodation provided when you stay with us in San Mateo, including access to kitchen and coworking spaces.
- Receive a stipend to cover a portion or all of your flight costs to and from San Mateo.
- One meal and one drink per day are covered whilst on campus.
- Opportunity to visit San Francisco during downtime and join team offsites around California (previous trips include Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, and Big Sur).
- Network with 100+ early-stage founders from around the world during the program.
- Attend and capture content for Survival Week—a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our founders.
Preferred Background & Qualifications
- Dedication to the Craft: We care more about your portfolio and growth journey than your degree. Whether you’ve been creating video content full-time for 3 months or part-time for 3 years, show us your work.
- Problem Solvers & Fast-Paced Experience: Our on-site environment is startup-like. We value solution-oriented individuals with experience in fast-paced settings.
- Proactive Learner: Our team is made up of generalists who aren’t afraid to get hands-on and figure things out. We value quick learners who can deliver results.
- Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Experience with tools like Da Vinci, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro etc.
Bonus Skills:
- Interest in startups and technology culture.
- Experience building a video podcast.
- Experience with animations.
Hiring Process

- Stage 3: Final Behavioral Interview (30 minutes) via video call.
