We are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their Election Services based in North London. As part of the Corporate team, you will work alongside the project managers and consultants to administer projects, acting upon specific instruction from client organizations and in accordance with Election Services' written procedures and project management approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to start or accelerate a career in project management or elections as you will receive close supervision to develop knowledge and skills, progressing from providing support on project tasks to managing your own projects.

They are industry-leading election experts, and once you have acquired the knowledge required to manage your own projects, you would be the client's primary point of contact and responsible for giving advice where necessary (both procedural and legislative).

An interest in elections, politics, or governance in organizations is desirable.

The Project Coordinator will report to the Deputy Manager of the team and will follow their direction to take responsibility for project tasks and management as required and appropriate.

Requirements Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide project support to the corporate team and coordinate activities required to successfully deliver election projects to client organizations.
  • Duties may include drafting project specifications, performing quality assurance checks, attending client meetings, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Produce reports as required for the Sector Manager or Deputy Manager, such as updates on current projects.
  • Understand and implement the project management methodology and procedures of the department/company.
  • Understand and implement the compliance policies and procedures of the business to ensure risks relating to quality, information security, business continuity, and health and safety are adequately managed and any issues are effectively addressed with the support of sector and department leaders.
  • Collaborate with more senior colleagues to receive enquiries from clients and obtain all relevant information necessary for the efficient and lawful conduct of a project, and coordinate the delivery of the requirements with other departments.
  • Be flexible in meeting client needs, including working out of office/weekend hours where needed and instructing Sector Managers and other departments where assistance is required.

Essential requirements:
