The Role:


We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Test Lead with strong process and documentation skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing comprehensive test strategies, including the creation of test plans, test scenarios, and completion reports. This role requires a deep understanding of .NET, Azure, Intune, and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow. The successful candidate will lead testing efforts across various phases, ensuring quality and compliance while effectively communicating with stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve test processes and methodologies.
  • Write and manage essential documentation, including Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Completion Reports, and other relevant materials.
  • Ensure that all testing processes and documentation adhere to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Design, write, and review technical test scenarios that align with project requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough defect logging and tracking.
  • Utilise tools like JIRA and Confluence for managing test cases, tracking defects, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Apply technical knowledge in .NET, Azure, and Intune to develop effective test strategies and troubleshoot issues.
  • Integrate ServiceNow into the testing process for incident management and reporting.
  • Lead and manage testing activities across all phases of the testing lifecycle, including System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure all testing is completed on schedule and meets the required quality standards.
  • Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and operations teams, to align testing efforts with project goals.
  • Present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.



Requirements:


  • Strong process management skills, with the ability to document and standardize testing procedures.
  • Experience in writing and managing Test Approaches, Test Plans, and Test Completion Reports.
  • Proficient in .NET, Azure, and Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of testing: SIT, Functional, and UAT.
  • Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to present technical information clearly to various audiences.
  • Leadership experience in coordinating and managing testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred.
