Responsibilities



Concept Creation and Development


  • Responsible for the seasonal creation of trend packages, including mood boards, color palettes, and illustrations to help set the scene and direction for Panache Sport.
  • Attend trade shows to stay updated with the latest technologies and trends from suppliers.
  • Work closely with suppliers to aid design direction and to develop exclusive fabrics, components, and prints.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director for day-to-day support and management, and attend inter-department meetings to ensure development is achieved within the outlined CP.
  • Display confidence in following through styles from sketch to production, bringing your original ideas to convey freshness and relevance to the product.



Design and Product Development

  • Actively lead, drive, and monitor the conceptual development of innovative and directional product lines from CAD through to finished samples.
  • Work with the Technical team throughout the fit process to ensure the integrity of the design is maintained while considering Panache’s fit and performance integrity, ensuring any changes are highlighted to the wider team.
  • Using knowledge of the industry, source and develop fabrics, trims, and prints that represent the fit and feel of the brand. Identify any cost and minimum issues that may affect margin and production levels.
  • Develop professional relationships with suppliers, communicating professionally and clearly.
  • Negotiate where needed to meet required price points.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, construction details, and development packs.
  • Complete and set color standard paperwork for all products.
  • Create a detailed bill of materials and other relevant costing information for the factories, ensuring proposed products meet the agreed price points and achieve the target margin.
  • Ensure all technical specifications are accurate and updated throughout the development process.
  • Responsible for monitoring and prioritizing workload in line with the Design Calendar and
  • Business Critical Path. Ensuring that sampling for Design meetings, key market presentations, and sales exec samples are of the required standard and are on time
  • As part of the wider team, join our journey to make improvements concerning sustainability. Sourcing sustainable qualities wherever possible.
  • Help to resolve any technical issues that arise during the production process. Effectively risk assessing every style with garment and fabric tech teams to ensure all styles are suitable to proceed to production, identify areas of concern or issues that may arise, and how to effectively manage those areas.
  • Performance sports testing for new and existing styles.



Qualifications


  • A Passion for Sports
  • Contour Fashion or relevant Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong ability to communicate ideas to the team and wider business when needed
