Overview:
Partnered with a Digital asset Hedge fund, who is an investment vehicle designed to invest in and manage a portfolio of digital assets, typically focusing on cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based tokens, and other digital financial instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing all contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, handling disputes, and representing the company in legal proceedings.
- Shall also stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the crypto trading industry worldwide.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments related to blockchain and cryptocurrency across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including securities laws, anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC) regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- Employment law knowledge would be useful.
- Trading related compliance knowledge is a MUST.
