Job Description: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Accelario, you will lead the development, deployment, and optimization of our infrastructure, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability. This role involves architecting and managing our CI/CD processes, implementing best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), enhancing security measures, and driving continuous improvements across our DevOps processes. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure seamless deployments, strong system performance, and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

- Automation & IaC: Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure automation (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure efficient and reproducible environments.
- CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Architect and improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment frequency, reliability, and efficiency, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Implement and oversee comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance: Strengthen security practices by embedding compliance requirements into DevOps processes, implementing regular audits, and ensuring that infrastructure is compliant with industry standards.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, promote best practices, and stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevOps automation.
- Incident Management & Root-Cause Analysis: Oversee high-severity incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to ensure system reliability and prevent recurrence.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with significant experience in a senior/lead capacity.
- Cloud Expertise: Advanced experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and familiarity with multi-cloud strategies.
- Infrastructure as Code Proficiency: Expert knowledge in IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Mastery: Extensive experience architecting and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
- Containerization: Advanced experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and system management.
- Monitoring & Logging: Strong experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and familiarity with APM tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic).
- Security-Minded: Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. Able to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of DevOps excellence.
