Business Development Manager

Biotrial is a leading CRO specializing in Drug Development with a wide range of expertise in preclinical pharmacology, clinical development, bioanalysis, biometrics and ECG, CNS and Imaging Core Lab. You will therefore be required to interact in a supportive manner with different departments.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for communicating Biotrial's expertise, science and project execution to potential clients and for offering support to existing customers.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Develop and implement account plans for your client base with a focus on new client acquisition, sales and revenue growth.
- Achievement of new business, renewal business, revenue and profitability targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and in-depth knowledge of their organisation and needs with frequent contact.
- Assist in arranging and hosting prospective client visits at Biotrial’s sites.
- Participate in conferences, trade shows, symposiums.
- Manage sales activities, including sales planning, visits, reports and results; Maintain correspondence and information in the CRM database.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience (3+) in business development/sales, within a scientific/medical environment/CRO would be a plus.
- Good understanding of the Drug Development Process or ready to learn quickly
Skills and Abilities
- Customer-focused and results-oriented
- Strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills; excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Independent and self-starting, pro-actively chase leads and opportunities but also work with the team to bring the best of the company to a customer.
- Motivated to grow the business (Sales hunter)
- Can build and manage multiple leads simultaneously, able to prioritize
- Can influence and motivate internal stockholders to address client’s feedback on time
- Like to work in a multicultural environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and awareness and effectiveness in using various web and social media tools.
