About the Role

As a Secondary School Psychology SEN TA, you will work closely with students, offering tailored support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in psychology and a passion for education and training. You'll play a key role in supporting students with SEN, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to implement strategies that foster their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, working closely with the teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
  • Work with the school's educational psychologist to develop and implement tailored interventions.
  • Support students' social and emotional development through structured activities and guidance.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices in SEN support.
