Location:

The role is hybrid, you will be required to travel to the Reading office once a week.


See below the daily tasks of an Internal Communications Advisor:


  • Provide input into the Internal Communications & Engagement strategy
  • Use a business partner approach to be a bridge between leadership and our people, ensuring that information and data/metrics/KPI’s flows smoothly
  • Bring a measurement mindset to develop engaging and creative campaigns that drive employee engagement and behavioural change across the organisation
  • Foster a strong culture of collaboration to help create experiences that engage, connect, empower, and inspire our team members
  • Develop and deploy a robust employee voice framework
  • Take responsibility for all internal events across the business, working with key stakeholders to deliver informative and engaging sessions
  • Implement best practices to drive continuous improvement of company-wide employee communication programs, processes, and channels
  • Work closely with our marketing teams to ensure our internal and external messaging aligns with our brand and tone of voice

We would like you to have the following skills:


  • Proven experience in an internal communications role, contributing to and delivering on internal communication strategies
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and launching communication products or platforms
  • CMS (content management software) tool experience, preferably using Microsoft platforms
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • An analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and communication to a range of audiences
  • A passion for driving innovation and improving communication processes within organisations
  • A confident approach and be able to make decisions
