W&A is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Dunfermline as they seek to hire a Finance Business Partner, who will support the delivery of strong commercial analysis, financial reporting & control for the designated business unit.


Role Profile:


  • Produces insightful management information on projects and approved business cases
  • Report & investigate monthly variances, including headcount to key stakeholders, supporting the management of those risk & opportunities
  • Manage the in-year and life financial forecast for projects
  • Ensure strong governance exists including project gate oversight & spend controls
  • Responsible for annual budget process across product development areas
  • Responsible for the accurate timely & production of management accounts
  • Provide insightful analytics to key stakeholders & finance to enhance common understanding of financial status on projects & impact to projected life spend
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver new products/features to market
  • Responsible for reconciliations to ensure controls environment operates effectively
  • Maintains and updates policies and procedures


About You:


  • A qualified accountant with post-qualified experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Focused on delivering operational excellence within structured timeframes
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate & cohesive reports for management
  • Background in management accounting
  • Experience of product development beneficial.
  • Previous international experience beneficial.
  • Successful problem solving in a cross functional team.
