  • Incident Response Planning: Develop and refine incident response plans to prepare clients for a swift and effective response to potential security incidents.
  • Client Training & Awareness: Educate clients on the latest security trends, best practices, and technologies, increasing their awareness and resilience to cyber threats.
  • Technology Integration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to implement security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure client security practices align with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on security findings, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions, keeping clients informed and engaged with their security posture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest in cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques, bringing fresh insights to improve client protection strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in cybersecurity, with a focus on proactive or preventive security measures.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and anticipate potential risks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with attention to deadlines and detail.
  • Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to security; driven by a commitment to prevent security issues before they arise.
