Private Client SolicitorPQE NQ - 3 Leading West London Firm

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join the Private Client team of a well-established multi-officed West London Law firm, looking for a highly enterprising, proficient and personable individual. You will need to be technically experienced in all aspects of Private Client work and have the ability to explain complex matters. Our client's Private Client team specialises in providing advice and assistance to clients in the areas of probate and trust administration. They link up where required with other specialist departments in the firm in an open and welcoming environment, which encourages teamwork and cooperation. They have a partner-led approach on all matters, providing a flexible team structure which helps to develop junior members of the team and allocate work to the right level. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to clients, advising on a range of estate administration matters including wills, probate, deputyships, LPA etc. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing clients to get instructions
  • Advising clients in discussing plans and progress and keeping them fully informed about their matter
  • Providing relevant documents
  • Keeping client and matter files in good order and ensuring that all information is recorded thoroughly and accurately
  • Dealing with clients' queries and problems promptly and efficiently, either face-to-face or on the telephone
  • Complying with quality standards set and with departmental procedures, when handling all matters
  • Supporting the growth of the department by being actively involved with business development
