Embark on a pivotal role in the construction of a state-of-the-art Grade 3 cleanroom facility in the greater Stevenage area. This high-profile pharmaceutical project is seeking an experienced CSA Manager ready to join the project construction team.


The Opportunity:

As the CSA Manager, you will:

  • Ensure all project safety requirements are met and adhered to.
  • Contribute to the division’s objectives within the project and communicate those aims to the staff, ensuring goals related to safety, quality, or programme are achieved or improved.
  • Act as the point of contact for subcontractor site management, involved in the selection and procurement process.
  • Set standards of behaviour alongside the project team.
  • Participate in the project decision-making process, providing valuable insights and support.
  • Help and support team members, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the team provides detailed accounts of their activities.
  • Work closely with the design team, offering advice on buildability and suitability of design solutions.
  • Ensure that on-site instructions from the Client’s authorised personnel are recorded and managed effectively.
  • Conclude the project to the Client’s satisfaction, including snagging, commissioning, validation, and room readiness.
  • Fulfil all the requirements of the Company procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Ensure that less experienced staff are given opportunities to improve their knowledge and experience.
  • Participate in tasks such as setting up site cabins, ensuring services are connected, and maintaining a clean and tidy site area.
  • Possess a general working knowledge of the Form of Contract being operated for the project.
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship with the Client’s representatives and supply chain.


Your Expertise:

You will:

  • Act as a key liaison between construction crews and design teams, ensuring seamless integration of various construction activities.
  • Utilise your understanding of buildability, regulatory requirements, and cleanroom standards to optimise designs and ensure compliance.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in construction management, particularly within cleanroom environments.
  • Must have experience in groundworks, steel works, and high-tech projects.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage project documentation.
  • Knowledge of buildability and design solutions in cleanroom construction.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and staff development.
  • Proficiency in relevant project management software.
