About the Role
You will be responsible for leading a team that curates a bespoke and seamless experience for our suite guests. As a natural leader, you will manage a team of creative and agile Butlers that demonstrate the highest level of hospitality. You will be able to adapt to many settings and styles and find meaningful ways to enhance the guest journey. With a passion for hospitality, you will take great pride in overseeing the suite experience and understanding how to best engage with each guest. You will keep a critical eye on our product and have a thorough knowledge of the functioning of room features, hotel facilities and equipment.
- Own the guest experience for our Suite guests, ensuring a bespoke and memorable service.
- Drive the performance of the Butler department, ensuring the team delivers the highest quality in relation to Forbes, LQA and Rosewood Brand Standards.
- Develop and implement efficient Butler procedures and best practices.
- Adapt and tailor your style of service to best suit the guest preferences.
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organise and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Support with all training and onboarding of the Butler team.
- Manage the Butler team, including recruitment, training and development, performance, and standards.
- Prepare weekly work schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust the schedule to meet business demands if necessary.
- Liaise with the relevant departments to prepare for guest stays and action guest requests.
About you
- Naturally creative and curious, you are driven by relationship hospitality.
- You will have previous experience working with and looking after HNWI.
- A confident leader, you have experience managing a high performing team.
- Experience with LQA and Forbes would be advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience in Food and Beverage would be preferable.
- Confident in communicating with a variety of senior guests and colleagues.
- Preferably you’ll have experience of being part of a pre-opening team.
