Who are we?

Klein & Sons are a video creation agency working with well-established clients across many industries, with a particular focus on sports and corporate communications. As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has opened up to work as an Production Manager. The role is based in our offices in the heart of London (Oxford Circus).

Overview of the role

The Production Manager sits at the heart of our agency. Ensuring the production of all video content produced is effective in realising our clients’ goals. Efficiency in all processes and maintaining high quality standards is paramount, along with helping build a positive, client focused culture within the team. Our mission is to continue to deliver an unparalleled, service while producing effective, innovative content that truly helps our clients achieve the results they desire.

As our Production Manager you will act as the day-to-day point of contact for our growing portfolio of clients, making sure they are continually communicated with and feel assured that their projects are in the best possible hands. You’ll be maintaining workflows, pre-empting issues and ensuring project deliveries run smoothly. An emphasis on high attention to detail is a must, as you’ll be responsible for the quality control of all content that leaves the agency.

Job Purpose

· To implement and improve efficient workflow systems, manage the video team and be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple video projects.

· Become the primary force for change and improvement in the agency, helping to implement or initiate new processes and systems as needed.

· Maintain company standards, a positive working environment and relationships within the team and with our clients.

· Budgets, capacity management and the ability to make decisions under pressure are important factors.

· To scope, research, plan, facilitate, deliver and evaluate our portfolio of projects.

· To research and to acquire an understanding of the context, content and aims of every project and build relationships with key stakeholders to support development and delivery.



Responsibilities

Ongoing Management Responsibilities:

· Ensure our processes and systems are maintained and improved where necessary.

· Always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are understood and followed by the project team.

· Write, prepare and help present documents and presentations to team and clients.

· Ensure client brief and scope is adhered to, identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and production goals.

· Set and manage client expectations regarding deliverables and timeframe while coordinating and ensuring all parties follow the agreed workflows.

· Ensure that each member of the team is working from a tracked schedule and has a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of their contribution.

· Ensure excellent communication, positive working relationships and teamwork within the development team and across disciplines.

· Maintain quality standards with a defined process at specific steps.

· Develop a robust scheduling system to increase agency efficiency.

· Manage and strengthen new and existing client relationships

· Act as coordination point for incoming and outgoing assets.

· Source and book freelancers with relevant skill sets when required.

· Manage external suppliers and workflow procedures.

· Manage project estimates and invoicing.

· Ad-hoc script/copywriting.
