Public Inquiries ConsultantOur BFlex platform is a growing community of experienced lawyers who value flexibility and variety in their work. We're expanding our bench of candidates to meet the increasing demand for high-calibre legal expertise in public inquiries, investigations, and inquests. BFlex offers you the opportunity to work on high-profile matters while maintaining control over your schedule and workload.
You will advise on complex public inquiries, working alongside our in-house teams and external clients to deliver strategic legal solutions. The breadth of projects you'll be able to contribute to will be extensive, from matters of national interest to sensitive and high-profile investigations. You'll be encouraged to leverage your expertise and build relationships across the industry.
Key Clients IncludeGovernment bodies, public sector organizations, and private entities involved in public inquiries and investigations across the UK.
Responsibilities • Delivering Expertise: Provide exceptional legal advice on public inquiries, investigations, and inquests.
• Flexibility: Manage your own schedule while meeting client needs and project deadlines.
• Growing our Network: Contribute to the BFlex community and share knowledge with peers.
• Developing our Business: Understand client needs and collaborate for mutual growth.
• Significant experience in public inquiries, investigations, or inquests (at least 3 years' PQE preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for varied assignments.
• Must be an SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer.
