The Opportunity

They are looking for a talented Python Developer with substantial AWS experience to join their client's innovative team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and refining cloud-based solutions on AWS. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects that make a real difference.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, excellent Python coding skills, and experience with serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Manage and optimize databases for performance and reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code tailored for serverless environments.
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS SAM or Terraform to streamline deployment processes and manage cloud resources.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Keep up with industry developments and recommend the adoption of best practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development, particularly with AWS.
  • Strong expertise in relational databases such as RDS, Aurora, or PostgreSQL.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions for creating serverless applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills within cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous integration and automated deployments.
