Financial Controller | Technology Business | Staines | £60,000 to £68,000

Join an international technology business as their newly appointed Financial Controller. The successful candidate will join the team to take on a hands-on role, with a broad range of responsibilities including management of financial reporting and accounting operations.

Your Duties:

  • Overseeing the submission of monthly management accounts for four business units
  • Managing month-end journal posting including WIP, prepayments and accruals
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Producing a monthly analysis reports
  • Overseeing intercompany balance reconciliation and repayment
  • Submitting VAT returns and month end statutory accounts
  • Managing half-year review and year-end statutory audits
  • Preparing annual budgets with input from the Business Unit Directors Supervising and mentoring the finance team

About You:

  • You have previous experience in a similar role, overseeing finance functions on a day-to-day basis
  • You ideally have an accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA, CIMA)
  • You have solid IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage
  • You are a critical thinker and have problem-solving skills

The Offer:

  • Salary of up to £68,000 per annum
